Hi, I’m Mehdi.

I have a passion for weaving narratives through data analysis and possess proficiency in every facet of the analytical process, from data collection and cleaning to visualization and results communication.

I hold an M.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of British Columbia, complemented by another M.A. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Mathematics.

Currently, I am working as a Senior Statistician for Provincial Health Services Authority where I use my statistical skills to improve healthcare in BC and Canada.

I am proficient in Python, SAS and STATA. I've got some solid experience with various Python libraries and years of experience in SAS and STAT

Visualization

I visualize data by using Python (Matplotlib and Seaborn) and Power BI

Machine learning and statistics

I have experience with different machine learning and statistical models: Regression (Logistic, Lasso and Ridge), Discriminant analysis, Random forest, Neural network and survival anlaysis
